Hey there! I’m Rachel, a lifelong writer, creative communicator, and big fan of a well-told story. I’m based in Austin, Texas, but work with clients all over the world.

I’ve been writing since I was 12. These days, I still write fiction in my spare time: I’m currently working on my first novel, and have submitted several stories for publication in literary magazines.

Professionally, I’ve been writing for over 10 years in all kinds of settings:

• In tech, I’ve written blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, ads, style guides, how-to guides, and scripts for software tutorials.
• In higher ed, I’ve created newsletters, webpages, and marketing materials for students, parents, staff, and faculty.
• In nonprofits and PR, I’ve written press releases and public-facing communications.
• And for local businesses, I’ve designed promo materials, social media posts, and brand guides that help them connect with their community.

No matter what I’m writing, my goal is always the same: communicate clearly, creatively, and in a way that actually sounds like you.

I’ve been writing pretty much my whole life and I still love it. Whether I’m telling a story, helping a brand find its voice, or just polishing up a sentence, I’m fully in my element.
